LET’S make it clear: Yours truly remains unmoved as he continues to throw his trust and faith on President Rody Duterte in the way he carries out his campaign promises specifically on illegal drugs and corruption in the government.
Nonetheless, it’s quite dismaying that he’s become clumsy obviously inappropriate for a Chief Executive like him whose every word and action is always considered precise and worth-emulating.
And his penchant for always saying sorry would no longer do any good as it already loses its value because he appears to have this habit of uttering against anyone or groups regardless of the huge effects it brings since, anyway, he can safely and quickly say sorry.
But Mr. President, you are the highest government official of the land and everyone is looking at you with much inspiration and belief, please be more sensitive and, wait, what happens with your vow to metamorphose, isn’t it for real?

A week before President Duterte holds his 100th day in Malacanang, workers and allies are holding simultaneous protests especially at several branches of SM malls across the country to push for the abolition of contractual employment scheme and remind the president to fulfill his electoral promise.
Well, it’s a common knowledge that SM exploits employees by violating their right to security of tenure. As a result, concerned sectors will continue to lead in the massive protest actions to press the Duterte government on its promise to end contractualization which has left ordinary workers poorer in the end while the rich, the elitists have become richer and more influential.

NAVOTAS WOMEN ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT
A total of 564 Navoteñas received livelihood trainings during the annual Women’s Entrepreneurship Summit that the city government held over the weekend, according to Mayor John Rey Tiangco.
All praises for the city women, Mayor Tiangco says the participants were taught how to bake vanilla chiffon cake, chocolate cupcake and crispy siopao, and make liquid detergent and herbal soap.
“They also learned how to start a business and make it sustainable, and how to avail of the city’s Tulong Puhunan program,” says the elated mayor.
COASTAL CLEAN-UP, TREE PLANTING AND ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN
What makes everyone to give praises on Mayor Tiangco is his constancy on his actions since he’s at the helm at the city.
Since Day One in office, he has steadily carried out projects and programs that are directly beneficial to his constituents and to mention a few include the regular coastal clean-up, tree planting activities and the dengue prevention campaign.
Over the years, the mayor and the local government have encouraged more volunteers for the programs and instilled discipline on residents who have gradually learned the proper ways that make their living more peaceful and abundant.
